Causes, phenomena and treatment methods of abnormally high temperature of SKF operation

1. Causes of high temperature of SKF bearings:

(1). It is possible that the cooling water of SKF bearings is interrupted, causing high temperature.

(2). It is possible that the oil quality of SKF bearings is deteriorated, the oil itself is not clean or the oil is deteriorated during operation.

2. Phenomenon of abnormal high temperature operation of SKF bearings

The digital thermometer monitoring system of SKF bearings sends a fault signal of increased bearing temperature.

3. Treatment methods for abnormal high temperature of imported bearings.

(1) Low oil pressure may cause the cooling water hydraulic valve to close. The oil pressure of the speed regulator should be checked first.

(2) Check whether the cooling water pipeline system is normal. If the cooling system is blocked, stop the machine immediately for processing.

(3) Check whether the bearing has abnormal sound and detect whether the bearing swing is abnormal.

(4) Check the quality of the engine oil and whether the oil level of the oil gauge is normal.
